Coaches Eastman and Ryan Notch Career Victory #300

In varsity girls' volleyball action on Thursday, September 21 at Ignatius, the Wolkpack defeated Fenwick 25-23 and 25- 14.  This win marked the 300th career girls' varsity volleyball victory for this coaching duo. 

Many thanks to all of the current players, students, alumni, parents and alumni parents, and current and former faculty and staff who attended the match.

Students Named to Swimming Scholastic All-American Team

Congrats to Jacob Furlong ‘18, Gillian Gagnard ’17 and Ezra Mizgala ’18 on being named to the USA Swimming Scholastic All-American Team.In order to be considered for the Scholastic All-America Team, swimmers must maintain a 3.5 GPA for the current academic year and swim a time equal to a 2016 Winter Junior Championships qualifying time in any event during the qualification period. High school sophomores, juniors and seniors are eligible for inclusion.

Silvers '17 Named Golden Apple Scholar

Congratulations to Ella Silvers '17 who was recently named a Golden Apple Scholar. The Golden Apple Scholars of Illinois program is a group of 234 dynamic young people who have chosen to dedicate themselves to a future career teaching students in Illinois schools-of-need. 8/9/2017 recently released its annual rankings of the best high schools in the country and Saint Ignatius came in at #2 for Catholic schools in Illinois. Ignatius also came in at #276 on the list of the best private high schools in the United States. CLICK HERE to see more.
